3.8 Flow Sensor Alignment

Warning. When inserting or removing the flow sensor suitable restraining equipment must be used to
prevent the flow sensor being forced out under pressure. Ensure that the valve is fully open.
Note. Safety restraint omitted for clarity.

a Slacken the nut.
b Align parallel to the pipe (within 2°) –
measurement error due to misalignment
(of <2) is <0.15 %.
c Tighten to 40 Nm (30 ft lbf).
