- Page 2 The ignition must be turned OFF before PCIII USB EX installation. Remove the main seat and the passenger seat. Remove the two bolts securing the tail cover as shown in Figure A. Remove the tail cover. Place the PCIII USB EX in the tail section and route the wiring harness on the inside of the tail section towards the front of the bike as shown in Figure A.
- Page 3 Locate the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) connector above the left hand side of the engine. This is a white 3-pin connector as TPS connector shown in Figure D. Disconnect the TPS connector. Attach the white connectors from the PCIII USB EX PCIII USB EX to the TPS stock connectors as connectors shown in Figure E.
- Page 4 10 Attach the grey connectors from the PCIII USB EX to the fuel rail connectors as stock shown in Figure G. connector grey connectors from PCIII USB EX stock connector 11 Attach the ground wire from the PCIII USB EX to the negative side of the battery.
