Troubleshooting
The Receiver is not Responding, or the TV Set Display Remains

Possible causes
The antenna cable is not connected or the
mains plug is not correctly plugged into
the mains socket.
The receiver and TV set are connected
incorrectly
An incorrect input is selected on the TV
set
The receiver and/or the TV set are not
switched on or are in the stand-by mode
The receiver and/or TV set are not
responding to the remote control
The Receiver is not Responding to the Remote Control
Possible causes
The batteries of the remote control are ...
flat
of the wrong type,
have been inserted the wrong way round.
Remote control command set has been
unintentionally changed
Remedy
Check the antenna cable and the mains
plug connection
Connect the receiver and TV set accord-
ing to Fig. 5, p. 16.
Select the input on the TV set which the
receiver is connected to.
Turn on the receiver and the TV set.

Remedy

replaced,

Take a battery out and insert it back into
the remote control to reset it to the factory
