Operating functions on the unit If the remote control is unavailable the receiver can be operated with limited functionality using the buttons on the front of the unit (Tab. 1). Functions that are password-protected cannot be operated using these buttons, since they require numeric buttons. When the receiver is switched on, it is set to start with the same settings as when it was last switched off.
