5.7. Setting up the wireless connection
The WiFi Network Camera can be connected to the router using a wireless connection via
WLAN. To set up this wireless connection with the WiFi Network Camera it must be
connected to the router via the network cable.
Using the supra IPCam Config program,
search for the WiFi Network Camera in the
network and start the log in page of the
camera via "Browser" or enter the local
network address of your camera in the
Internet browser of your computer.
Enter the user name and password and select "Log in". No password has been set for the user
"admin by the manufacturer. The settings program of the camera appears. Select "Settings"
and then "Wireless settings".
Click on "Search" at the bottom to automatically detect the WLAN network of your router.
Click on the network under "Selection" and then on "Apply".
Under "Region" select the region in which the WiFi Network Camera is installed. Different
channels will be made available by the WLAN depending on the region.
Now enter the code(s) for the WLAN network, as specified for instance in the router and then
click on "Save". To accept the wireless settings restart the WiFi Network Camera by clicking
on the symbol at the bottom right. You can then remove the network cable between the
camera and the router.
Please note that the local network address of the WiFi Network Camera changes when
the camera is connected to the router via WLAN. To determine the new network address
restart a search via supra IPCam Config.
