Prerequisites

1 Remove the stand.
2 Remove the back cover.
3 Remove the system-board
4 Remove the wireless card.
5 Remove the base panel.
6 Remove the rear-I/O bracket.
7 Remove the speakers.

Procedure

1 Open the latch, and disconnect the power-button board cable from the system board.
2 Peel off the power-button board cable from the display-assembly base.
3 Remove the screw (M3x5) that secures the power-button board to the display-assembly base.
4 Slide and lift the power-button board, along with its cable, off the display-assembly base.
