Column 9: Enter the signal type for the point (0-Ana, 1-Dig) according to the
BACnet object type also entered for the point, with the correct format (see
section 4.4 for details about correct formats).
Column 10: Enter the "Spontaneous configuration" for the point (0-NoSpon, 1-
Spon) according to the functionality desired for the point, with the correct format
(see section 4.4 for details about correct formats and functionality).
Column 11: Enter always "1-Yes".
Save the modified file with Excel maintaining its original format (text file with Tab
separated fields).
Open the configuration window from LinkBoxBacnet as explained above.
Do not forget to enter the ASCII interface parameters and BACnet interface parameters
in Connection Tab as explained above.
Select Signals Tab, and you should see here all the new rows introduced previously
using Excel in ASCI-INT.DAT file.
Save the configuration, and generate the gateway configuration.
Download the configuration file to the gateway as explained above.

6.2 Configuring the ASCII system to access the gateway's points

Once the gateway is configured and working, then the last step to do is configuring the
ASCII system to be able to write/read ASCII messages according to the format accepted by
the gateway and having in mind the address configured for every point. This must be done
by the engineer in charge of configuring and commissioning the ASCII system (LiteTouch for
example).
