Fusing nip width adjustment: envelope

Function
Specifies the fusing nip width specifically for envelope printing.
When to use
Effective for wrinkles, worm track that occur with envelope.

Initial fusing temperature for envelope

Function
Before the envelope is printed, stabilize the nip width to reduce the wrinkles of the paper.
When to use
Reduces wrinkles. However, this will increase the waiting time.

Smoothing roller rotation interval

Function
Specifies the fusing belt smoothing roller operation interval.
When to use
Setting a shorter interval between each belt smoothing operation is effective for residual gloss
images (as shown to right), which occurs as a result of continuous printing of high image coverage
pages (due to the margins at the trailing and leading edges).
This is also effective in preventing or ameliorating wrinkling at the edges.
