• Danger!
Risk of injury due to electric shock.
► Protect the machine against water splashes. When inserting and removing the
water hose, ensure that no water penetrates the air slits of the machine. Use in-
tact Gardena couplings and Gardena hose lengths only. Check the sealing rings
for wear or damage. The drill may not be run with leaking hose couplings.
• Connect the water supply (1) with coupling (3) to a hose with a Gardena hose fitting
(½ inch).
• Use the tap (2) to regulate the water supply.
• Set the water flow rate as low as possible to avoid the risk of splashing/spraying (see
above). A medium strength water jet suffices.
• In general, ensure free water run-off for wet cutting and chasing. Avoid any water
back-up.
Switch on wet concrete cutter / chaser and cut / chase

• Always hold the wet concrete cutter / chaser cutter firmly with both hands on the
handles (1 and 3).
• Switch on the wet concrete cutter / chaser; to do this, press the ON / OFF switch (2)
and wait until the machine has reached its full speed.
