Fit or replace wet grinding disc
Choose a grinding teller suitable for the material to be machined and the required
abrasion (see table on page 13).
Danger!
Risk of fatal injuries due to electric shock.
► Disconnect the mains plug before carrying out any work on the wet concrete cutter /
chaser.
Danger!
Risk of injury due to hot grinding disc.
► The grinding disc can get hot if used for a lengthy time. Wear safety gloves when
you change the hot grinding disc or allow the grinding disc to cool first.

• Wait for the machine to come to a complete standstill before pressing the spindle
lock button (4).
• Press the spindle lock button (4), and at the same time turn the grinding disc (1) until
the spindle lock button latches into the drive shaft.
• Keep the spindle lock button (4) pressed and use the face pin wrench (2) to undo the
flange nut (3).
• Remove the grinding disc (1) and replace it with a new one.
• Screw on the flange nut (3) while the drive shaft is locked and use the face pin
wrench (2) to tighten the nut moderately.
• Check the fit and condition of the grinding disc. A damaged grinding disc may not be
used and must be replaced immediately.
• Danger!
Risk of injuries due to cracking of the grinding disc (thrown up / flying parts), caused
by damaged, untrue running or vibrating grinding discs.
► During the trial run of the machine, hold the grinding disc away from your body
and do not touch or grip it.
• Start the wet concrete cutter / chaser and perform a trial run without load for 5 to 10
seconds.
