Before Starting Work
Adjust the front handle

To enable comfortable handling of the machine, the tilt of the front handle (1) can be
adjusted.
• Use the Allen key SW8 to undo the two hex socket cap screws (1).
• Adjust the handle (2).
• Re-tighten both hex socket head cap screws (1).
Check the personal protection switch
• Danger!
Risk of fatal injuries due to a defective PRCD personal protection switch.
► The personal protection switch PRCD must be checked each time before the wet
concrete cutter / chaser is started (see below). If the PRCD does not trip during
the test or if it repeatedly switches off when the wet concrete cutter / chaser is
switched on, the wet concrete cutter / chaser together with the PRCD personal
protection switch must be examined by a qualified electrician.

– If the mains plug is plugged in and the wet concrete cutter / chaser is switched off,
press the - ON− button (RESET) (2). The red indicator light (1) must light up.
– Press the −OFF− button (TEST) (3). The PRCD must switch off, i.e. the red indi-
cator light (1) goes out.
– Press the −ON− (RESET) button (2) again. The wet concrete cutter / chaser must
now be able to be switched on.
– If the PRCD does not trip during the test or if it repeatedly switches off when the
wet concrete cutter / chaser is switched on, the wet concrete cutter / chaser to-
gether with the PRCD personal protection switch must be examined by a qualified
electrician.
– It is not permitted to operate the wet concrete cutter / chaser with a defec-
tive personal protection switch PRCD – risk of loss of life.
