• The cutting depth can be changed adjusting the height of the guard plate (2). Undo
the three star knob screws (1). Set the required depth by turning the guard plate and
re-tighten the three star knob screws (1).
• Please note!
The best cutting and chasing results are achieved if the guard plate is set so that
only a small amount of material is removed.
Connect dust and/or water extractor

• Danger!
Fine and toxic dust is harmful.
► If materials that produce harmful dusts are cut (e.g. quartz sand, lead-containing
paint pigments, etc.), a suitable dust / water extractor (e.g. BAIER special dust
extractor) must be connected to the wet concrete cutter / chaser.
• Remove the cap (2) on the socket (1).
• Check the dust extractor is working properly and then push the dust extractor hose
(3) firmly onto the socket (1).
• The socket (1) is designed for the suction hose of all BAIER special dust extractors.
• Please note!
Greater effort may be required to push on the suction hose in cold ambient tempera-
tures.
