SMBIOS Event Long Standard Settings
Log System Boot Event
This option toggles the System Boot Event logging to enabled or disabled. The options are
Disabled and Enabled.
MECI
The Multiple Event Count Increment (MECI) counter counts the number of occurrences that a
duplicate event must happen before the MECI counter is increment. This is a numeric value.
The default value is 1.
METW
The Multiple Event Time Window (METW) defi nes number of minutes must pass between
duplicate log events before MECI is in increment. This is in minutes, from 0 to 99. The default
value is 60.
Note: After making changes on a setting, be sure to reboot the system for the changes
to take effect.
View System Event Log
This item allows the user to view the event in the system event log. Select this feature and
press <Enter> to view the status of an event in the log. The following categories are displayed:
Date/Time/Error Code/Severity
