Starting/Ending the Recording
Start:
Press the video record button
• A video recording in progress is indicated by a flashing red dot. The
remaining recording time is also displayed.
End:
Press the video record button again

SOUND RECORDING

Sound is recorded in stereo using the built-in microphones. To
reduce any noise caused by wind, a damping function is available:
Select
Wind noise cancellation
setting in the sub-menu
in the menu and then the required
Notes:
• Focusing and zooming cause noise which will also be recorded. Try
and avoid using these functions during an ongoing recording.
• Due to sound transmission characteristics in water, it is not
advisable to record sound underwater.
