Starting / ending the recording
Starting:
Press the video shutter button
• A video recording in progress is indicated by a flashing red dot. The
remaining recording time is also displayed.
Ending:
Press the video shutter button again
SOUND RECORDING
Sound is recorded in stereo using the built-in microphones.
To reduce any noise caused by wind during sound recording, a
damping function is available:

in the menu, and the desired setting
Note:
Both focusing and zooming cause noises which are also recorded. In
order to prevent this, you should refrain from using these functions
during an ongoing recording.
