• To prevent fungal growth during use in hot, humid tropical climates,
the camera equipment should be exposed to the sun and air as
much as possible. Storage in airtight containers or cases is
recommended only if a desiccant such as silica gel is used.
• Do not store the camera in a leather case for extended periods of
time to prevent fungal growth.
• Note down the serial number of your Leica X-U, as you will need
this is extremely important information in case of loss.
