ISO SENSITIVITY

The ISO setting determines the possible shutter speed and aperture
combinations at a particular brightness. Higher sensitivities allow
faster shutter speeds and/or smaller apertures (for "freezing" rapid
movements or to increase the depth of field), although this can also
result in greater noise.
Press the
button and select the desired setting in the (two-page)
ISO
list (i.e.
for the automatic setting or one of the eight fixed
AUTO ISO
settings)
Within the
option it is possible to limit the sensitivity range
AUTO ISO
to be used (e.g. to control noise), and the slowest shutter speed to be
used can also be specified (e.g. to prevent blurred pictures of moving
subjects):
1. Select
Auto ISO Settings
2. Select
or
Slowest Speed
Max ISO
3. Select the desired values in the relevant second level sub-menus
in the menu
in the first sub-menu
