PROTECTING IMAGES/CLEARING DELETE PROTECTION:
1. Select in the menu
Protect
• The previously displayed picture appears again with the menu
shown.
2. Select the desired option
3. Confirm by pressing the
MENU/SET
• Protected pictures are indicated by .
Depending on whether or not the picture is protected, it
contains the options
Unprotect
Selecting Other Images from the Protect/Delete Menu
Press left/right on the cross pad
Exiting the Protect/Delete Menu Without Action to Return to
Normal Review Mode:
Press the button
PLAY
Notes:
• If you attempt to delete protected pictures, warning messages
appear. If you still want to delete these pictures, clear the
protection as described above.
• Protection is only effective on this camera.
• Even protected pictures are deleted if the memory card is
formatted.
• You can prevent accidental deletion also by sliding the write
protection switch on the card to the position marked LOCK.
