3 Electrical connection
3.1 Connection instructions
Note
Switch off the power supply before starting
connection work.
Connect supply voltage according to the
following connection diagrams.
Note
If strong electromagnetic interferences have to
be expected, we recommend to use screened
cable. The screening of the cable should only
be earthed at one sensor end (electrode).
Generally connect the electrode with vessel
ground (PA). For this purpose there is a terminal
laterally on the housing. This connection is
additionally for the mass reference potential as
well as to drain off electrostatic charges.
