6. In the drop-down list Source for system active power select the measurement source used
at the grid-connection point. If you are using an Energy Meter as measurement source, make
sure that the serial number of the Energy Meter used as the measurement source is displayed
under PV system communication > Measured values > Meter on Speedwire in the field
Serial Number. If the correct serial number is not displayed, enter the serial number of the
required Energy Meter in the field.
7. Select [Save].
8. If you are using one of the analog current inputs of the Cluster Controller as measurement
source, configure the characteristic curve of this analog current input. By this means, the
current signals measured at the analog current input are converted into the corresponding
percentages for active power feed-in:
• Select the parameter group Device > Inputs/outputs > Analog input.
• Select [Edit].
• Set the characteristic curve depending on the connected sensor (see manual from
manufacturer).
• Select [Save].
Making settings for active power limitation
Requirements:
☐ The configuration for the active power limitation must be agreed upon with the responsible
grid operator.
☐ The necessary parameter for the active power limitation must be set in the inverter (see
Section 13.2, page 63).
Procedure:
1. Log into the Cluster Controller as Installer.
2. In the system tree, select the Cluster Controller and select the menu Grid management
services in the device menu.
3. Make the general settings:
• Select the parameter group General settings > System control.
• Select [Edit].
• In the drop-down list Operating mode, select the entry Closed-loop control.
• If you are using digital or analog inputs, enter the desired time interval in the field Time
interval for the output value.
• If necessary, adjust the value for the total system power. By default, the nominal inverter
power available in the system is used as the value for total system power.
– In the drop-down list Total system power select the entry User-defined.
– In the field User-defined total system power, enter the desired value.
• Select [Save].
4. Select the parameter group Active power and select [Edit].
5. In the group Basic settings > Signal source activate the checkbox Manual specification.
6. Select the group Settings for manual specification.
