Quality indicators for the GPS solution.
Shows the estimated accuracy of the position solution (95%
CEP).
Shows the estimated RMS accuracy of the velocity solution
(95% CEP).
Shows the average signal-to-noise ratio on GPS receivers 1
and 2.
Indicates the age of differential corrections. If Simrad HS52
receives no differential correction, the displayed correction age
will be high. See No Differential Corrections on page 60 for
troubleshooting loss of differential signal.
Shows the actual reference station identity number utilized in
the position solution. When a SBAS satellite is used as source
for differential corrections, the SBAS satellite used will be
shown with the letter E (EGNOS), W(WAAS), M(MSAS),
S(SBAS other SBAS system or Id not known) in front. For
example "Id: E124" indicates that EGNOS satellite 124 is used
as DGPS source.
World time referred to UTC.
In this display, a number of additional information on the
heading solution is presented. This information is mainly used
for troubleshooting the system.
An explanation of the information shown is as follows:
The heading determined from GPS alone.
The difference in heading determined from GPS and the internal
gyro element.
The instantaneous heading accuracy determined from GPS
alone. The instantaneous accuracy might differ from the
specified accuracy which is a figure determined for the
combination of GPS heading and heading from the internal data
element. The specified accuracy figure for the product is also
calculated as a standard deviation over a number of samples.
The figure shown as Accuracy might occasionally be higher
than the specified heading accuracy. If the Accuracy figure
shown is much higher (3 times or more) than the specified
accuracy, then the performance of the system is poor. Check
