PUMP MOTOR
REPLACEMENT

4. Determine which motor you wish to replace, or which one you wish to start
with. Trace the wire leading from the motor to its corresponding prime switch.
Trace the other wire from the motor to determine where it is connected.
5. With the needle-nose pliers, remove the motor wire from the prime switch,
being careful not to damage the prime switch in the process. (If the prime
switch is damaged, it will need to be replaced.)
6. Turn the cover over and using the phillips screwdriver, remove the cover to the
pump requiring a motor change.
7. With the cover removed, gently pull out the rubber tube from inside the pump.
8. Remove the roller by pulling it off of the shaft.
9. Using the phillips screwdriver, remove the four mounting screws for the motor.
