11.5 Virtual Cordon Detection
Purpose:
This function can be used for detecting people, vehicles and objects cross a set virtual line. The line crossing
direction can be set as bidirectional, from left to right or from right to left. And you can set the duration for the
alarm response actions.
Steps:
(1) Enter the detect mode setting interface.
Channel Setting->Smart Detection->Virtual Cordon
(2) Select the Channel.
(3) Check the Enable check-box to enable the function.
(4) Check the Show in Preview check-box to display the information in preview window.
(7) Click and draw a virtual line in the window. You can use
it.
(8) Select the line crossing detection rules.
Select the direction to A->B or B->A.
A->B: Only the object crossing the configured line from the A side to the B side can be detected.
B->A: Only the object crossing the configured line from the B side to the A side can be detected.
A<->B: When an object going across the configured line with both direction can be detected.
(9) Schedule plan setting.
(10) Linkage Operation.
(11) Click Save button to activate the settings.
