The NVR supports the Smart detection alarm sent by IP camera or the NVR. The Smart detection must be enabled
and configured on the IP camera and NVR settings interface first.
Note: The Frontal detection must be supported by the connected IP camera.

11.1 Detect Mode

Steps:
(1) Enter the detect mode setting interface.
Channel Setting->Smart Detection->Detect Mode.
(2) Select the Frontal detect or Local detect.
(3) Click Save button to save the settings.

11.2 Object Count Detection

Purpose:
Object Count function detects the object appears in the surveillance scene during a specified time, and some
certain actions can be taken when the alarm is triggered.
Steps:
(1) Enter the detect mode setting interface.
Channel Setting->Smart Detection->Object Count
(2) Select the Channel.
(3) Check the Enable check-box to enable the object count detect function.
(4) Check the Show in Preview check-box to display the information in preview window.
(5) Click and draw a virtual line in the window. You can use
re-draw it.
(6) Click the rule setting to set the area.
Select the direction to A->B or B->A.
