Instruction Description:
This instruction selectively sets the Interrupt Mask register ac-
cording to the interrupt mask code x. For each bit set to "I" in x, the corresponding bit
position in the Interrupt Mask register is set to "I" (see Table 7-8). Bit positions repre-
senting missing or nonavailable I/O channels cannot be set.

cording to the interrupt mask code x. For each bit set to "1"'in x, the corresponding bit
position in the Interrupt Mask register is set to

The processor (computer) executing this instruction sends an in-
terrupt to an associated processor on its left, via storage modules 0 and 1. The interrupt
remains active in the receiving computer until it is recognized.
