LED signals
The
AEK-USB-2TYPEC1
1.
Role: emits a continuous variable blue flashing light at about 1Hz indicating the device is a provider.
2.
VBUS: emits a constant green light when the power negotiation has completed (i.e., the Explicit condition is
reached). The provider can now begin to supply the negotiated power to the consumer.
3.
CC: emits different orange flashing sequences to indicate the following conditions:
a.
flashes at about 1Hz: CC1 line is connected.
b.
flashes twice followed by a pause: CC2 line is connected.
Note:
The connected Configuration Channel (CC) indicates the direction of the USB cable connection, given the cable
reversibility allowed by the USB Type-C standard.
