Air Flow

The TPS 500W 1+1 cage contains one 60 x 38mm fan for self-cooling. The cooling air enters
the subsystem from the DC connector side, passing through the power supply. The air flowing
through the power supply is pre-heated by the system. Inlet air to the power supply shall be in
the range of 0 to 50°C. The cage provides 8 CFM at 50 C per module for a 480W total cage
load.

EPS2U 480W Power Supply

The EPS2U 480W Power Supply is a single power supply unit with integrated cooling fan.
Following is the mechanical drawing of the EPS2U 480W power supply:
2.2.1 Air Flow
The EPS2U 480W has an 80X38mm two-speed fan(s) and provides cooling to both the supply
and the system. The cooling air enters the subsystem from the DC connector side, passing
through the power supply. The air flowing through the power supply is pre-heated by the
system. Inlet air to the power supply shall be in the range of 0 to 50°C. At high fan speed, the
power supply provides 19 CFM of airflow.
