Procedures for Using Configuration Utility

5.3.1

Create/add configuration

1. Run LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility.
2. From the TOP menu screen, select Virtual Drive Management, and then Create Configuration.
3. For Select RAID Level on the following screen, select the RAID level (RAID0, RAID1, or RAID10).
Run LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility
Create/add Virtual Drive
Check the Virtual Drive settings
Initialize the Virtual Drive
Install the OS and Universal RAID Utility*1
Perform Consistency Check
Exit LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility
