6. TCR INSTALLATION
Undo the 4 fixing screws and remove the TCR lid.
Fix the TCR box to the wall with 4 x No.6 x 1" Pozi screws through the 4 fixing holes "A" shown below.
ANTENNA
The 169MHz ½ Wave Antenna comes complete with a wall mounting bracket, 1 metre coax and BNC plug
for connection to the TCR.
The Antenna should be mounted vertically, as high as possible and free of immediate obstruction from
concrete, steel work or electrical equipment. The Antenna is suitable for external mounting but DO NOT
extend the 1 metre coaxial cable supplied.
CABLE ENTRY
Cable entry should be via the cable gland on the lower face of the TCR.
CABLE SPEC & COLOUR CODE
The TCR/AVI power & data bus should be wired using LSF (Low Smoke and Fume) 2 Pair 22AWG individually
screened pairs of data cable (Belden Type 8723 or equivalent).
