Serial Ports
The Blackbird provides four serial ports. All ports can operate in either RS-232, RS-422, or RS-
485 mode. IRQ interrupts are chosen in the BIOS Setup utility. The UARTs are 16550-based
serial ports implemented in the FPGA.
The figure below shows the location and pin orientation of the two serial I/O connectors.
