2.6.7 Install KAP-2

1. Remove the chassis of the TK-7180/ 8180
transceivers.
• Lift the top cover by widening two side tabs, using
a flat-head screw driver etc. Then, pull upward to
remove the top cover from the transceiver body.
• Remove the top rubber packing.
• Remove 4 screws and then lift the shielding plate.
2. Push the cap on the rear panel of the chassis from the
inside of the chassis.

3. Insert the 6-pin connector of the connection cable .
4. Insert the bushing part into the chassis hole fully .
5. Turn the bushing part of the connection cable
clockwise 90 degrees as seen from the inside of the
chassis.
