Basic Call Handling

Make an internal call
Dial extension number
Make an external call
Dial '9' and telephone number
Receive a call
Lift receiver or press the
loudspeaker key for
hands free [4018 only]
Hold a call
Dial * 1 or press
to select put on hold and
press OK
Retrieve a held call
Dial * 1 or press OK as end hold will be in the
display
Transfer a call
Dial extension number, announce caller and
press 'Transfer' Key or replace receiver
Retrieve a call
[If extn busy or no reply]
Press the 'Enquiry' key or press 1
Broker Call [Toggle back and forth]
Press the 'Broker' key or press 2
Last number redial
Press the redial key
Redial list
Long Press on the Redial key
,use the up
and down arrow to search and OK to dial
Transferring a caller to voicemail
Dial the extension number, and then dial 8 and
press 'Transfer'
key or replace receiver
Further telephone features
Call back on a busy extension
Dial extension, and press 5 or press the
select call-back and press OK
Cancel call back you requested
Re-dial extension number and dial *89
Cancel call back set on you
Lift receiver and dial *68
Park a call
Dial *75 or press the
scroll key and OK when

Retrieve parked call [From same extension]
Dial *75
From another extension Dial *75 and then dial

3 way conference call
Whilst on a call, dial 3
party, when they answer

Conference appears and press OK
Exit conference call
Replace the receiver
Pick up a specific extn [In or out of group]
Lift receiver, dial *72 and ringing extn number
Pick up a call in your group
Lift receiver, dial *73 or press Pick up key [The
system will give you the longest ringing call if
more than 1 phone ringing]
Touch Tone dialling
When on a call dial #4 or press
DTMF' and then OK to activate touch tone dialling
Last caller call back
to
Lift receiver and dial *69, scroll up
Back appears and press OK, the system will call the
last internal person that called you
Retrieve a call back [Red mail key flashing]
Press the
press OK key to display callers details, press OK
again, screen will show delete or scroll
recall and press OK
Enter hunt group
Dial * * 7 to enter the group [If you are
programmed as a member]
Exit hunt group
Dial * * 8 to exit the group [If you are programmed
as a member]
Missed Calls
Press the
unanswered call, press OK, it will show unanswered
until
ext, press OK it will display number of missed call,
press OK to delete or scroll up
and press OK
Forwarding your calls
Press the
through the following options:-
[Immediate forward / Do Not Disturb / De-activate
/ Other Forward – Busy no reply, no reply, on busy]
Press OK on forward required, enter number to
receive calls and hang up
To forward to voice mail select 'Imm Forward to
VM'
to select 'Send
until Call
key, display will show 1 call back,
to select
mail key, screen will show 1
to select recall
to select 'Forward', press OK to scroll
