What is the Bluetooth function?
The Bluetooth function enables wireless data transfer between devices that support
Bluetooth wireless technology. You can transfer data between these devices at a
range of up to 10 meters in an open area.
You do not need to use a cable for connection, since the Bluetooth function uses
wireless technology, nor is it necessary for the devices to face one another, as is the
case with infrared technology. For example, you can use Bluetooth devices in a bag
or pocket.
Bluetooth devices need to be "paired" with each other the first time a wireless
connection is made.
Once paired, the Bluetooth device and your Walkman can subsequently be
connected with a simple operation.
