CAUTION
Hot metal parts!
Check, if the centrifuge is accessible.
Be sure, that the room temperature is
within the limits.
Let the centrifuge cool down for 15
minutes.
Be sure there is no condensed water
in the rotor chamber.
If the error message appears again,
inform the service.
Wait until the rotor has stopped.
Check, if the rotor is qualified for the
Sorvall ST 8 / 8R Centrifuge
(check
"Rotor Selection" on page 20).
Check, if the bottom of the rotor is
damaged and if the rotor is placed on
the Auto-Lock correctly.
If the error message appears again,
inform the service.
Restart the centrifuge.
Check, if the rotor is qualified for the
Sorvall ST 8 / 8R Centrifuge (check
"Rotor Selection" on page 20).
If the error message appears again,
inform the service.
Check, if the centrifuge door is
blocked.
Restart the centrifuge.
If the error message appears again,
inform the service.
Check, if a rotor is installed.
Check, if the rotor is qualified for the
Sorvall ST 8 / 8R (check
„Rotor
Selection" on page
14).
Restart the centrifuge.
If the error message appears again,
inform the service.
Check the power supply of the
centrifuge. Make sure not to operate
too many devices at one power
source.
Let the centrifuge cool down for 15
minutes.
If the error message appears again,
inform the service.
Check the load placed in the rotor.
Check that the rotor cross bolts are
greased well.
Restart the centrifuge.
If the error message appears again,
inform the service.
