Displaying the Caller's
Number / Text
Messages (SMS)
This function is also known as
CLIP (Calling Line Identification
Presentation) and must be sup-
ported by your network opera-
tor. In addition, the number has
to be transmitted by the caller
and your terminals must be
equipped for this function. If
required, contact your network
operator to order the CLIP serv-
ice. The CLIP function is also
required if you want to receive
text messages (SMS) using suit-
able terminals.

External Calls

b
Lift the handset.
t
and dial the external
telephone number.
24
External calls can be made on
both analogue lines simultane-
ously. Incoming calls for all
numbers are signalled on both
lines unless you have pro-
grammed your TA 33clip differ-
ently. No charge pulses are sent
to the analogue terminals.
Note
During a call via DTMF sig-
nalling it is advisable to avoid
using hand-held transmitters
for the remote querying of
answerphones on devices using
pulse dialling. This will block
your device for any further
dialling and it will need to be
re-enabled by dialling any digit
other than "1" (see also page
16).

Internal Calls

You can make internal calls free
of charge between the two
telephones.
