Applying Eff ects to the Microphone
You can apply eff ects to the microphone input. You can use three diff erent vocal eff ects as input eff ects.
Eff ect
NOISE SUP (Noise suppressor)
EQ (3 Band Equalizer)
COMP (Compressor)
Press the [INPUT EFFECTS] button; the button will light, and the
eff ect will be applied to the microphone.
Selecting the Type of Input Eff ect
1.
Hold down the [SHIFT] button and press the [INPUT EFFECTS] button.
The INPUT EFFECTS screen will appear.

Use the cursor buttons and the value dial to edit the eff ect parameters.
3.
To make detailed settings for each eff ect, move the cursor to the
NOISE SUP, EQ, or COMP fi elds and press the [F1] (EDIT) button.

Description
Suppresses noise when no sound is being input.
Adjusts the character of the low, mid, and high-frequency ranges.
Reduces high-level sounds and boosts low-level sounds, thus improving the overall
volume balance of the sound.
To select the eff ect type (TYPE 1–4), move the cursor to the
TYPE fi eld and turn the value dial.
To turn each eff ect on/off , move the cursor to the NOISE
SUP, EQ, or COMP fi elds, and turn the value dial.
