2.1 Introduction
Searchline Excel Cross-Duct gas detector consists of a Transmitter and Receiver unit, and a Heated Reflector
Panel. The Transmitter and Receiver unit generates and detects the infrared beam. The Heated Reflector Panel
is mounted at the opposite side of the duct to reflect the beam from the Transmitter back to the Receiver.
Note: THE INFRARED BEAM IS INVISIBLE AND EYE SAFE.

The long range gas detector uses a larger Reflector Panel than the short range version.
