Messages

If a message is displayed, refer to the following list and take the appropriate action.
Message
The disc is blank (empty).
Blank Disc
The disc could not be read/written in time.
CD Disc Busy
The disc is full. No more tracks can be recorded.
CD Disc Full
You have reached the maximum number of tracks
CD Track Full
(CD-R: 99, CD-RW: 98) that can be recorded on a
disc. No more tracks can be recorded.
CD Read Failed
Failed to read a disc.
Failed to write a disc.
CD Write Failed
Failed to format the card.
CF Can't Format
The card is full. No more tracks can be recorded.
CF Card Full
CF No Enough Mem
The card does not have enough free space for the
operation.
You have reached the maximum number of tracks
CF Track Full
(99) that can be recorded on a CF card. No more
tracks can be recorded.
The CF card was removed while reading or writing. Turn the power off, and then on again; if normal
CF Was Removed
Count-in REC
Recording will begin after a count-in.
Divide Multiple
The track will be divided for writing on multiple
discs.
Finalized Disc
The disc has been finalized.
Improper Disc
The disc is an inappropriate type for the operation
you are attempting to perform.
The disc is not a CD-RW disc.
Not A CD-RW
No title has been entered.
No Title
You can't stop recording because the elapsed
REC Too Short
recording time has not reached four seconds.
The track number can't be assigned because the
location selected is less than four seconds after the
previous track number.
A track with the same name exists on the CF card.
Same Name Exists
Cannot assign the name to the track.
SMF Too Big
The SMF file exceeds the size (1 MB) that the CD-2
can play. Playback is not possible.
You can't assign a CF track that exceeds the
Short Of Capa
available CD-R/RW disc space.
Tr is Too Short
You can't trim or divide because a track can't be
shorter than four seconds.
The disc cannot be used with the CD-2.
Unknown Disc
Unsupported CF
The CD-2 is unable to use this CF card.
Unsupported File
The CD-2 is unable to play this SMF file.
Waiting Signal..
Waiting for audio input to trigger recording.
Content
Action
Use a CD-R/RW disc that is not blank.
If this appears during playback, use an
unscratched disc. If this appears during
recording, use a recommended brand of disc.
Record on another disc.
Delete unwanted tracks to increase the free space
