CAL_NEXT
Initiates the next calibration point.
Returns the value of the next point to be calibrated when in the middle of calibrating
CAL_NEXT?
a range.
Cancels any interactive calibration underway (that is, one started with the CAL_AC,
CAL_OFF
CAL_I2, and CAL_DC commands).
CAL_SHIFT?
Returns the calibration shift for a single calibration point.
Advances to the next step of an interactive procedure without executing the step
CAL_SKIP
(like a CAL_NEXT except the step isn't executed).
CAL_SLST?
Returns the calibration shifts for a group of service calibration points.
Returns the uncertainty specification for a specified input value, range, and
CAL_SPEC?
frequency.
Lists the calibration constant groups that have been updated but not saved (and
CAL_STLST?
therefore, how many would be written to nonvolatile memory by a CAL_STORE
command with the same argument).
CAL_STORE
Stores calibration constants in the specified group list into nonvolatile memory.
Tells how many calibration constant groups have been modified but not saved (this
CAL_STORE?
is like CAL_STLST? except only the initial number is given).
Sets the temperature for calibration. This should be done before CAL_DC, CAL_I2,
and CAL_AC commands. Once set, the temperature is used for all calibration
CAL_TEMP
activities until changed. If not set before a calibration activity is complete, the 5790A
uses a default of 23.0 °C.
CAL_TEMP?
Returns the most recent calibration temperature for a specified type of calibration.
CAL_ZERO
Executes internal dc zeros calibration.
CMDSTR?
Returns the command string that caused the last error.
DIAG
Run a self diagnostic routine.
Set the 5790A response to errors that occur during execution of diagnostics under
DIAGFLT
remote control. (Nonvolatile.)
Returns the setting of the response to errors that occur during diagnostics executed
DIAGFLT?
under remote control.
Returns the first error code and description from the 5790A error queue. This error
ERR?
is then taken off the queue.
EXPLAIN?
Explains an error code. (5700A compatibility.)
FAULT?
Returns an error code and takes the error off the error queue. (5700A compatibility.)

*CLS
(Clear status.) Clears the ESR, ISCR0 and ISCR1, the error queue, and the RQS bit in the
status byte. This command terminates a pending operation complete (*OPC).
