2. Install the Woodruff key 5 onto the drive
shaft groove.
3. Align the groove a in the impeller 6 with
the Woodruff key 5, and then install the
impeller.

4. Install the insert cartridge 7 into the
water pump housing 8.

NOTE:
Align the insert cartridge projection b with
the hole c in the water pump housing.

5. Install the water seal rubber 9 and grom-
met 0 onto the water pump housing 8,
then install onto the lower case.

Do not turn the drive shaft counterclock-
wise, otherwise the water pump impeller
may be damaged.
NOTE:
When installing the water pump housing, turn
the drive shaft clockwise while pushing down
the pump housing.
