Troubleshooting

Diagnosing Hub Indicators
You can easily monitor the hub through its front panel indicators. This section
describes common problems you may encounter and possible solutions.

Power and Cooling Problems
If the power indicator does not turn on when the power cord is plugged in, you
may have a problem with the power outlet, power cord, or internal power supply
as previously discussed. However, if the unit powers off after running for a while,
check for loose power connections or power surges. Make sure the fan on the back
of the unit is unobstructed and running when power is reapplied to the hub. If the
fan is not running, call Allied Telesyn.
