Removing and replacing the HPE Smart Storage Battery

Procedure
1. Power down the compute module.
2. Remove the compute module.
3. Remove the access panel.
4. Place the compute module on a flat, level work surface.
5. Unplug the battery cable from the system board.
6. Remove all DIMM baffles, and disconnect the battery from the system board.
7. Remove the HPE Smart Storage Battery.
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.

1. Power down the compute module.
2. Remove the compute module.
3. Place the compute module on a flat, level work surface.
