■ How to display the used amount
The amount of thread remaining on the
bobbin is displayed on the bobbin thread
counter icon (in %).
When the ratio of thread remaining on
the bobbin becomes 20 % or less, the
percentage is displayed in red.
The table given below indicates the amount of thread fully wound on the bobbin when the bobbin thread counter
is used. Use this table as the measure.
* This table should be used for reference since the amount of thread to be round on a bobbin may change ac-
cording to the type of thread to be used.

■ How to measure the amount of thread wound on a bobbin

Set the unit of the used amount by pressing
1) Inputting the bobbin winding amount
● In the case of inputting the measure of the amount
of thread to be wound on a bobbin
Find the measure of the amount of thread to be wound on
a bobbin according to the type and thickness of thread,
and set the appropriate numeric value.
● In the case of inputting the measured amount of
thread
Set the amount of thread to be wound on a bobbin using
the numeric value you have measured.
2) Inputting the ratio of thread amount remaining on a
bobbin with respect to the fully-wound amount
Estimate the amount of bobbin thread remaining on a
bobbin. Input the remaining thread amount in %.
(In the case the bobbin is fully wound with thread, the
percentage will be "100 %".)
The set value is confirmed by pressing

Start measuring using the bobbin that is fully wound with
thread (i.e., 100 %)
The amount of thread used is displayed on the bob-

The amount of thread displayed on the bobbin counter
icon when the bobbin runs out of thread represents the full
amount of thread to be wound on a bobbin.
