Inserting the Refillable Ribbon Cartridge
Pull up the opening/closing lever to open the door

cover.

Check for slack in the ribbon refill.

If there is slack in the ribbon refill, hold the
refillable ribbon cartridge as shown in the figure,
turn the ribbon gear in the arrow-indicated
direction, and take up the slack.

Removing the Refillable Ribbon Cartridge from the CPM-200
Open the door

cover. Hold the
refillable ribbon
cartridge catch
and pull it forward.
Turn the cartridge

downward and
then pull it out.

Fit the Hinges of the refillable ribbon cartridge into

the slots in the back of the door cover. Ensure
that the ribbon gear color matches the colour
printed on the CPM-200.
Green
Turn the refillable ribbon cartridge upward, using

the Hinges as leverage. Push it in firmly until
the refillable ribbon cartridge locks with a "click"
sound.

Do not touch the print head.
Getting burned or a malfunction may
result.
