Replacing the Ribbon Refill
Open the door cover. Hold the refillable ribbon

cartridge catch and pull it forward.

Turn the cartridge downward and then pull it out.

Open the cartridge cover and remove the old

ribbon refill.
If the cover is difficult to open, pull up the location
indicated as ① and then ② .
Remove the four gears (two orange, two green)

from the ribbon refill take up core.

The shape of the orange gears are different from
that of the green gears.

Prepare the new ribbon refill.

Retaining Tape
Insert two gears (one orange, one green) into

the take up core on the transparent frame side.
Ensure the flat edges are face up.

Place the transparent frame side of the ribbon

refill into the cartridge on the flat cover side.

Firmly insert the protruding part of the orange
gear into the recessed part of the cartridge.
