2. Database backup before update
IMPORTANT: The patient information database should be backed up prior to any software update.

Power on the Kiosk and log in as the admin user (using associated KeePass password).
□
Ensure that the NAS is booted up and connected to the router.
□
Using Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\SafeGait\Scripts\Backup (or C:\Temp\Scripts\Backup)
and Shift+Right Click on "Backup_Launcher.bat". Choose "Run as different user" option and
enter username and password for backup user (located in KeePass).
□
Verify that a backup file has been created in C:\Gorbel Medical\SafeGait\Backup this file should
have the format SafeGait_YYYYMMDDHHMMSS.BAK.
□
Start Acronis Backup and select the SG Database Backup task. Right-click and select Run...
□
Check that backup completes successfully (warnings are OK, just dismiss them).
□
Make sure that an Acronis backup file has been exported to the NAS in the folder
\\SafeGait_NAS\Backup.
