24. Remove the four screws that secure the Cover-Slack Detector Guide to the assembly.
25. Remove four screws from roller arm and three screws from guide roller. NOTE: Not required if
installing a STRAP ASSEMBLY with a serial number of 0917001 or higher.
26. Take the STRAP ASSEMBLY and uncoil the small pin loop end. Use a tape measure to place a
reference mark at 39 ½ inches from the pin loop end to indicate the two revolution point for
future Rotary Limit Switch set-up. Thread through the Strap Management Assembly per the
illustration below. If necessary, use a flexible plastic shim to help thread the strap assembly
through the rollers. Note: Loop should be facing down. Pull the strap through until the reference
mark is 3-4 inches above the strap guide. Install PIN, STRAP ATTACHMENT into the small loop on
the end of the strap. Re-install the Cover- Slack Detector Guide, tightening the screws securely.
NOTE: insure correct side of cover is facing up. Re-install the roller arm and guide roller,
tightening screws securely. NOTE: Not required if installing a STRAP ASSEMBLY with a serial
number of 0917001 or higher. When properly tightened, mark each removed screw with a
paint pen.
