Test procedure

Close the carrier
gas supply
Start up the detector
Activate the "gas
line test" function
Run a cycle
8/11
Use of the "I" gas line option
For ASM 180 TD and ASM 180 TD+
The connections are made according to the
recommendations on page 7.
Close the valves (6 and 9).
Make sure that the DN40 inlet port is blocked.
Activate the atmospheric pressure key
Press the yellow button above the ON switch.
Wait until the detector enters "Fine Leak" mode
and the analyzer cell pressure is sufficiently low
(for example, no more than 3 green indicator
lights on).
Initially, the helium background noise increases briefly and
then decreases and becomes stable.
Note: The inlet pressure displayed on the remote control
unit is not the pressure at the gas line (circuit separated by
a membrane inside the detector: see detector mimic
diagram). It is the pressure at the level of the DN40 inlet
port. However, this pressure varies as a function of the
pressure in the gas line.
