Freedom Flex Battery

The Freedom Flex Battery is a rechargeable lithium-ion battery for cable-free operation.

Installing the Battery

To insert the Freedom Flex Battery into the product, follow the instructions below.
1.
Apply substantial pressure to the corners of the battery.
2.
While pressing on the battery, slide the lock tabs outward to ensure proper installation.
The battery's seal will compress over time, making installation easier.
Proper Installation
The tabs on the Freedom Flex Battery will be fully extended when it is properly installed.
Ensure the Freedom Flex Battery is properly installed to preserve the product's IP rating.

Charging the Battery

The Freedom Flex Battery must be removed from the Freedom Flex H4 IP to be charged in the charging
slots of the Freedom Flex Case.
1.
Turn the Freedom Flex H4 IP off.
2.
Remove the Freedom Flex Battery from the Freedom Flex H4 IP. (See

Plug it into one of the battery slots in the Freedom Flex Case.
4.
Plug the case into a power source.
The indicators for each slot with a battery inserted in the Freedom Flex Case show red
when a Freedom Flex Battery is charging, and green when it is fully charged.
Do not close the lid of the Freedom Flex Case while batteries are charging.

Battery Life Indicator

The indicators on the LED Menu Display show how much battery life remains available. The drawing below
provides a key to reading the battery life indicators.
