Introduction
IPS Series
is designed for rugged environment, especially in the applications of
facility management, sewage treatment, power utility, telecommunication,
transportation and all other mission-critical applications that require reliable Ethernet
connectivity.
IPS Series
are with manageable Redundant Ring. It contains the
interface of 10/100TX, or 100Base-FX, or 1000TX, or 1000BaseX ports, or 1000
Combo ports. All these switches can protect your mission-critical applications from
network interruptions or temporary malfunctions with its maximum 10mS ultra fast
recovery time. These models also support functions of network management, such
as SNMP, RMON and Port/Tag-based VLAN security.
Network Management and Remotely Configuring
IPS Series
can be configured smartly by web browser, Telnet, CLI, and windows
utility. Network administrators can determine to send event notifications through
email, SNMP trap, or relay output. To enhance the security, port access can be
limited to pre-defined IP address table, as well as segment ports into different
VLANs, or filtering multicast traffic by IGMP Snooping.
IPS Series
support Power over Ethernet, a system to transmit electrical power
and data to remote device over standard twisted-pair cable in an Ethernet network.
Each switch has 4X10/100TX or 8X10/100TX PSE (Power Sourcing Equipment)
ports. PSE is a device (switch or hub for instance) that will provide power in a PoE
setup.
IPS Series
can be managed centralized and convenient by powerful
windows utility-Open-Vision. The wide operating temperature range
can satisfy most of operating environment. Therefore,
IPS Series
most reliable choice for highly-managed and Fiber Ethernet application.
